Hi, I’m Bernard Owusu.
About Bernard
I’m Bernard a London-based photographer and visual storyteller working at the intersection of fashion, culture, and creative expression. My work is rooted in capturing the people, ideas, and environments that shape creative communities and bring stories to life.
Photography didn’t come to me in isolation. It grew naturally alongside my journey in fashion and digital media. Over the years, I’ve created content, designed garments, and built online platforms, which helped me understand how powerful visual storytelling can be in shaping culture and identity. That background still influences how I approach every shoot with intention, authenticity, and a focus on telling stories that feel real.
Some people may know me from my YouTube channel, Straight Bernz, where I built a community of over 120,000 subscribers. That experience taught me a lot about connecting with audiences, building trust, and creating content that resonates lessons I carry into my photography and studio work today.
I run a photography studio here in London, built for artists, brands, and creatives who want to create meaningful visual work. It’s not just a place to shoot it’s a space to collaborate, experiment, and bring ideas to life.
Long term, my vision is to continue building a studio that not only produces strong visuals, but also supports emerging talent and contributes to the wider creative community.
If you’re a creative, a brand, or someone with an idea you want to bring to life, I’d love to hear about it.
